Tangle ("we", "our", or "the app") is a daily word puzzle game available as a mobile app and at tanglegame.com. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
We do not collect any personal data directly. Tangle does not require an account, login, or registration of any kind.

This data never leaves your device. It is not transmitted to any server operated by us, and we have no access to it.
The Tangle website at tanglegame.com displays ads served by Google AdSense. The Tangle mobile app does not contain ads.

You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time by visiting google.com/settings/ads.

Tangle does not use any third-party analytics services (such as Google Analytics) to track your usage or behavior beyond what is required for ad serving on the website as described above.
Tangle fetches daily puzzle data from Google Sheets via a public API. No personal information is sent in these requests.
The mobile app may request permission to send daily local notifications as a reminder to play. These are generated entirely on your device and do not involve any external servers. You can disable them at any time in Settings.
Tangle is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any data from children. The website's ad serving is configured to comply with applicable children's privacy regulations.
If we ever update this policy, the changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
